IMO the car looked spot on how it was originally. If you make those changes it will look totally wank.

At the end of the day though if that's how you like your cars then fair enough, just don't expect everyone on here to agree with you.

everyone has a different view dont they.

I hate it when someone drives their car into a shop like halfords and hopes for the best a see's what they come out with. Most of time you get an old banger or a 206 with the ugliest features.

Personally, I like a car to look sporty, and think the car does already look very nice, but would look alot nicer delocked, with the alloys I have pasted on and with the custom made rear diffuser I made. NOT THAT'S SMART!!!

Dont suppose anyone knows where I can get a rear diffuser like that from do they? Any custom places around the Ipswich area?

Cheers for the post tho and thanks for posting the pics.

Jamma

If your not sure how to do things then have a look in the FAQ area, there is a lot of information there which should be of some use to you.

For example this one tells you how to host images.

Have a good read of the rules and use the search function and I'm sure you will get along just fine. Thumbs up

Isn't the first car squiff's one?

I'm not a fan of 17's on these cars unless you have a reason ie aftermarket callipers/discs Ninja

I did it once to an xsi i had, but would never do it to a 6

All the pics are of Squiff's car, I think he is considering buying it and this is what he wants to do to it.

exhausts poking out of bumpers is synonymous with chavvy sheds.. the bumper cut outs are usually done freehand with a hacksaw too LOL

Personally I think if you do that to it, it would look nearly as shit as your current one...

If you do buy one, at least aesthetically, leave it alone. Wink

If you do feel the need to attach vast lumps of fibreglass to your car there are plenty of cheap Paxo's kicking around. Yes

Btw, bizarre project considering you don't even own the project yet. Unsure

Edit: If Squiff has any sense, he'll be slightly selective about who it's sold too. Whistle

I'd just noticed that too! Laugh

I think a big Motorsport sunstrip would compliment that nicely. Cool

if it has standard wheels, Id keep them, I like the cyclones, but Id have to change the black wheels. To be honest, I'd probably only change the wheels to the 17" toora's pictured. and put my private plate on it, but it's good to be part of a group who dont like people who ruin the 306 with mods.

Im 19, and looking for my 3rd 306. my first was a R reg miami (cost me alot to maintain)
2nd was a 1999 1.4 meridian (very reliable)
and now looking for my 3rd, a GTi6, but would settle for a ming 1.8 meridian, or XSi.

Personally Id rather have 5 doors too, as i have to take my footy buds to our weekly matches, and always have ppl in the back. but again, I bet you guys prefer 3 door. I know the gti6 only come in 3 door, but if it did come in a 5 door, wouldnt you consider it practically (if you have friends)?

I think im probably one of, if not the youngest 306 enthusiast here, so please dont mock me, we're all entitled to our own opinion, and I know I leave alot of traces of thing you can mock, but Id rather express my opinion and not have people laugh than stay quiet and drive an average car. (not aimed at anyone on here)

anyway. I take it everyone prefers the black wheels, to the white one on here???????

Im not in any rush to buy, so not going to be fazed if i cant get his phase 2, Id prefer a phase 3 to tell the truth.

ONE QUESTION.... IS THE PHASE 3 DIABLO RED EVER SO SLIGHTLY BETTER THEN THE PHASE 2 DIABLO RED? OR IS IT THAT I'VE LOOKED AT IT IN DIFFERENT LIGHT?

Cheers
