GTR is rear biased so does let go at the back first (I know, Ive done it Big grin), so are imprezas. Evo's apparently are front biased, but oversteer anyway, maybe its down to the yaw control or something? Smile

Only AWD car Ive driven that just slid with all 4 at once was an Integrale, that was awesome Big grin

Thumbs down

Nice vid tho matey. When are you back over there? I suppose you wouldn't talk to me now tho as I've got a mobile chicaneLOL

Hi Steve, the comments I made in the youtube thread were made just to p*ss that knob off who made the uncunstructive criticism about my hand position although I do think there is an element of Elise drivers which are the new breed of MG drivers, I didn't say anywhere that I didn't like the cars. That said I think there's a bigger percentage of Scooby drivers who are nothing but chavs.
As for understeer, we did a lot of work sorting this by increasing the caster massively, we did this by fitting sperical bearings in the wishbones and moving them forward by 25mm and making our own top mounts, we then had to re-locate the front ARB and remanufacture a bespoke one to fit the new wishbone position. In addition to this we changed all spring rates and rear ARB and made adjustable ARB link bars all round. After this we set the car up on a patch and had a day at Donington with current Ginetta G55 driver Lee Paterson and made fine adjustments that we all felt went a long way to dialing the Scooby understeer out.
Cheers Martin

"You've only got to watch the "306 vs ringtaxi" video & you soon realise how good these mod's are! That guy is running Ash's 30mm ARB, Solid Mounts & 23mm Torsion Bars & some adjustments on the camber. Admittedly, the guy is an awesome driver, but it just go's to show how well these cars can handle with the right modification's
