I think I agree with you Yes but until it starts blowing or playing up, it's staying.. then maybe I'll get a Scorpion system or something similar

Obscenely loud exhausts get on your tits eventually, and your neighbours, and your employers too.

Back in my chav days I had a 309 gti, with a dtm on the back and only the mid box to muffle the sound. Dogs, upto 14 miles away would die from audio induced shock if i decided to go past 4k rpm. And the 3 hour trip upto Newcastle to see family was unbareable sitting at a reasonable pace.

Get a system with a good note, economy sized baked bean cans are for chavs. Yes We all know in our hearts it's true.

I honestly do'nt know why people would want a loud exhaust.Unsure
They're annoying as hell on a motorway.

IMO the 6's standard exhaust has the most beautiful noteLove

But, each to there own i suppose.Blink

Only my old Xsi 8valve i had a devil decat, straight through centre pipe and a peco 3.5" backbox. It was pretty loud, but it wasnt the chavvy droning of a 1.2 nova big bore lol.

In my younger days I had a full Powerflow no cat or mid silencer and a 4 inch slash style jap can at the rear LOL This was on my 5 door china meridian oh dear!!!

Now on the 6 I have a full stainless from manni back no cat a big mid box and big rear box with a small outward roll tip. Due to having no cat and straight through boxes we decreased the bore to 2.25 inch to retain perfect back pressure. It burbles nice on idle and around town you can barely hear it but when you really tread on it it's fooking loud!!!!

Mate that was epic, tow-rope snapped on a roundabout, fired the car up for the first time in weeks and it started first time with no exhaust, sounded like a jet plane though.

That car was awesome.

I run straight through to a magnex backbox, it's taken it's toll on the backbox however though.

past 4k its a raspy rally car

between 3 - 4k its a nightmare if i'm on a long straight A road or something

complete devil exhaust-system (incl decat+sporttube) = epicly loud screaming
2.5" and virtually equal to a complete straight through.
