Just a quick question, how easy are the cooling fans to remove (the actual spinning parts)? I want to spray mine yellow but I guess i better remove them before spraying them.

Any Help on how to remove them would be appreciated, I have tried searching but couldn't find the answer.

screw on the front of the blade (remember it unscrews the opposite way to normal!)

I've got the screw off trying to get the motor off, there are 3 screws. I think from me getting no where it needs a torx bit or something in the back? How do I go about getting the motor off, please say its not the whole plastic casing off!

i jammed something down the back when i did mine, but save yourself the hassle (and scraped hands - remember you have to bolt them back up)

its an easy job, take out the headlights, unbolt and lift off the slam panel, lift up the rad a bit and wiggle out the the fan unit and cowling

its easy mate

Typical Peugeot design, thick French f*ckers. Would be a million times easier and quicker if they didnt put a locking bolt like that.

Anywho, what sort of bolt is it behind? Its not a torx bolt I dont think, I really do not want to take headlights out, slam panel off and move the rad if I can help it

headlights are a few bolts mate, slam pannel is 4 i think (maybe 6), disconnent your bonnet catch cable, you only have the lift the rad up a cm or two to allow the fan cowling to be lifted out, it'll take much less time than trying to do it without, trust me, ive done both.

OK mate, just for reference tomorrow, do you know what I need to get in the back of the 3 bolts holding the motor? Old man has all the tools and he's working away in Isle of Man so have limited stuff!

Headlight bulbs are seized and rounded! I hope theres another way, loads of people have this problem gotta be an easy solution.

The whole front end can be removed in one piece by disconnecting all the wiring connectors and then just unbolting the slam panel and removing, with the front end (headlamps, bumper and grille) still bolted to it.

Good info, managed to get the slam panel out of the way although something on the drivers side is stopping me from taking it off totally.

May as well ask one more time, does anyone know the locking bolt on the fan motor, the front is a 10mm but theres a locking thing behind and I've looked and never seen it before.

If anyone needs to know for future reference, it is just a 10mm hex bolt behind, so need 10mm socket. Mine was rusted thats why i was confused.

Got the new fan on, unplugged the brown plug - and this one isnt working!

I hate this car (lol)

did you try the relays before you decided it was a fan?

swap the two green ones around in the cowling unit and see if it makes the other fan work
