Well its been some time since I last updated this post well ive been very lazy, so I got my lazy ass back to work on the car.

I also decided that my car was going to be a BTCC replica for show use, which was not what I wanted in the first place, so I am now concentrating on using my car for track use and to do shows as well.

After talking to GKZ_206 I decided to remove heaters to save on weight, last time I removed the dash I said to myself I would not remove it again as its a pig to get back in when the roll cage is in the way.

Oh well must be done, Wiper motor, panel e.t.c removed

Dash removed

Tomorrow I shall be removing the heaters, making the dash lighter, tidying the wiring behind the dash.

A very small update, heater removed, just waiting for some parts to turn up now.

Some of the wiring has also been neatly fastened to the bulk head.

I have now fitted the dash back in for the final time.

My quick release steering adapter had finally turned up, I have had to extend the steering shaft to allow fitment, this and the spline I have welded on.

The new sheet of Carbon fibre has been cut up for side vents, upper and lower glovebox and some other panels, I have wired in the FIA battery isolator & push button start (with help from Carl Chambers ) also 5 toggle switches have been wired in for various uses. All of this has been mounted in the carbon fibre centre panel.

Handbrake now also removed!

Jobs left to be done are:

Tiger seal all carbon panels in
Carbon fibre front door and rear quarter panels
Handbrake cables to be removed
Rolling road slight tune up - to sort Throttle bodies out
Oil Cooler
Swirl pot
Set of slicks for my BTCC Mag wheels

Then the car will be ready for the some track day action next year cant wait Pics to follow soon

Just stay off the kerbs, whats the point in having super light track wheels if you don't use them? Crazy
