I think it would be very unlikely for an SC car to come up for sale. The kit and bits would be worth more off the car.

Aye, the main ethos behind this 'charger conversion is the fact you retain complete drivability. Both power and torque are fairly linear, so power delivery is smooth, predicatable and progressive. It's not like a turbo which feels like being hit in the back with a sledge-hammer when it spools up, which is where you normally loose traction Mine doesn't really wheelspin at all in the dry, sometimes it breaks out right at the top in 1st, that's about it. It all depends how you drive it. If your brutal with gearchanges you can spin it in 2nd too. In the wet they are fun though Particularly with LSD Yes an LSD can be worse than the job it set out to do! At the moment my six feels so under powered the standard chassis is so good, the Yokohama Paradas have bedded in well now and feel well and truly stuck to the road and when they do finally let go they howl beautifully! I'm hopeing that leaving the suspension and brakes standard and adding the supercharger will induce a bit of drama into my drive. I got whipped by a new BMW 335D the other night, even though its a diesel the 282bhp and over 400LB/ft were enough to see mine off, though the supercharger will soon sort that out when up and running. ________________________________________ Previous Peugeot - 2000(w)GTI-6, Me old China, Supercharged with working aircon! |

Had the pleasure of being a passenger in this beast today. WoW, what an adrenalin rush The power delivery was very smooth. Gets to 70mph in no time And also, how can you forget about the brakes. They are awesome and all the supercharged boys should have similar I think cause they are so effective. Thank you so much for that experience Carl And also for sorting mine out as well. ________________________________________ VW Bora TDi 130Ex Bianca White Gti6 Ex Team China Blue 6 Ex 406 Coupe 3.0 V6 |
