Took deliverey of a set of these last month but only got around to getting them fitted today and thought I'd give my first impressions on them...I was a bit sceptical about how big a difference they would make over the 70k mile existing bushes that appeared to be in decent condition, but I noticed an immediate improvement even in the short spin home! The steering feels a lot more direct, with all traces of tramlining and torque steer abolished. The front end definitely feels a lot more harsh on uneven surfaces, presumably due to the shocks and springs now doing all the work as opposed to having the rubber bushes absorbing some of the impacts. Also, where the car originally used to lurch forward on letting off the throttle after hard acceleration, which I mistook for engine mount issues, it no longer does this. Can't recommend them highly enough, along with the decat I fitted over the weekend, these made the single biggest difference to how the car drives. Big thanks to Rich, who may I also add was a gent to deal with. I will definitely be in touch for a flywheel when the time comes to replace my clutch. Colm |

How long they last will depend on many things, but mainly how they are maintained / lubricated. As long as the 'P' bushes are regularly greased via the grease nipple in the bearing housing, they should last years. The front bushes don't need greasing as these are a sealed bearing. They are also fully re-buildable; so the bearings can be replaced if / when they do get damaged or wear out. Subject to sufficient interest, I will make another batch of 5 sets - however I need at least two definite orders for this to happen. Please let me know if you want to order.
