I was planning to post in this thread last month, but never got round to it...

I too found that the "leather" of the 6's wheel turned to bitty, sticky crap during hotter weather. I would emerge from the car on warm days, sweating (Ph1) and wiping my hands like some kind of vehicular onanist.

This was the solution:

It's a leather wheel cover. I can't remember where I bought it, but it was online following a brief googling. It cost about

I've done about 15k miles since fitting it, no peeling or deterioration of any kind so far....

Unless I've just got fairy liquid hands..

peugeot want £300 for a new steering wheel (leather one)

....has anybody looked into retrimming one, can be done for about £60 apparently

^^I've got a proper leather one and it's still done the same, mind, my steering is so heavy you get a full workout when parking, so I don't think that's helping...
