Hi GuysSo as most genuine parts are rocking horse poo these days I want need to look at pattern parts, Noe for my usual daily most stuff is First line or Delphi for the GTI 6 I want something better So what should I be looking for. FEBI Lemforder FAI Meyle ect I'm starting at the back and moving forwards I'm currently trying to source Beam Mounts (5131.69,5131.70,5131.71) there is a world of pattern parts out there but which ones are good quality and good value, Thanks |

I've always bought Lemforder for wishbones, droplinks and bushes. I've never had any problems and have always rated them. I run 17 inch rims on lowered springs so go through a lot of droplinks and P-bushes and I always try to get Lemforder when Euros are doing one of their silly half price deals (which seems to be every other weekend these days!).________________________________________ 1999 GTi-6 (china blue)1999 Rallye (black) |

My preference in order of premium pattern partsLemforder TRW Meyle ________________________________________ FRESHLY RE-FURBISHED GTI BEAMSFITTING AND LOWERING AVAILABLE. ALL AXLES BUILT USING GENUINE PEUGEOT PARTS IF I'M NOT HERE, IT ONLY MEANS ONE THING.... I'M SOMEWHERE ELSE! |

Same as andy but I'd rate TRW higher than Lemforder as they make most french and german suspension parts like arms ball joints etc etc from factory. Lemforder do too for bmw and volvo etc.Febi stuff is hit and miss, some is OE supplied some isnt do good but not as bad as the cheap crap. Stay clear of own brand crap like star  line, ocap, first line, drive tec vetech etc. Will all require replacing again in a year or so....________________________________________ Black power baby!
