Hubs vary on year. Early axles had a shorter stub axle pin. 2 types of hub cap too. Hub cap with a dome to it is the longer pin and newer hub. Trailing arm shafts are 5176.17. Over £125 each from main dealer. I don't believe in buying the cheap shafts on ebay ________________________________________ FRESHLY RE-FURBISHED GTI BEAMSFITTING AND LOWERING AVAILABLE. I looked at these before and when compared to the originals that came off the car, there was a big difference in the length of the splines at the fat end. My splines were much longer (ie. came further up the shaft) than the splines shown in that photo. ________________________________________ 1999 GTi-6 (china blue)1999 Rallye (black) |

Spook got back to me and said that the listing is for a 106 GTI not sure why it's listed as being for a 306 then??They have another listing for a super heavy duty pin and he said it's for a 306, I'm not fulfilled with confidence by them, Kam racing said there is oem size just stronger, and takes the original hub now all I need to work out is what do the classify as the original hub, I used to have a full grp A 306 rally car and had terrible issue with the rear stubs, ruined half a dozen bearings before I found out guy had changed stubs to 1.6 205 GTI and a machined hub, |
