Evening all,
Hope everyone is good, well and safe with all the current goings on around the world.

Please feel free to call me a muppet Unsure if I'm doing something really simple wrong but I recently bought a PP2000 kit from eBay using a kit kindly recommended to me by another Forum member. I've got the software all set up and working but cannot seem to get it to talk to the engine ECU on my 306 Gti6 or my 1.8 Meridian.....is this normal or am I doing something wrong? No

Thanks in advanced

I’m sure Mr Warren will be along shortly to explain how it all works!

Is it just the engine ECU or can't it communicate with the car at all? Are there any known issues with the car?

Hi pal,..

I don't think I had any issues like that,..
I've not used it for a while so can't fully remember all the in's a out outs,..

Are you just wanting it to do a scan of your car to check for errors?
I'll make a video showing you all the steps plugging it in and doing a scann
I could do with doing a key reprogramming video tut anyway Smile

Hopefully you'll be able to see if your doing something different?

Good morning all,
Thanks for your responses.

Basically it won't talk to the ENGINE ECU (Says The ECU has not replied) or the Air Con ECU (Says the fault reading has failed) - Not bothered about the a/c ecu if it even has one that is as the a/c works fine.
There is no faults/issues with the car/s I basically was just interested to see if there was any codes stored in the Engine ECU from previous. (I have tried the diagnostic on both my GTi 6 & my 1.8 Meridian both say the ECU has not replied Sad

Is it definitely PP2000 your using?
I had the same problem when trying to use Alexia it just will not talk to the 306 despite the program listing the 306 Dunno

Hi gnrlee,

Yea I installed the software which states "before 2007 models on the install disc" - the version number showing on screen when you load Peugeot Planet Office is Peugeot Planet 20000 (v 09.b (22.12) if that means anything.
It's running on a laptop with Windows XP SP3 - Assuming I'm doing it all right I've been opening the Peugeot Planet Office Software -> then select Peugeot Planet -> then select 306 -> then 306R -> Followed by the build code.

Morning all - Just a quick update on my Pug diagnostic issues. I managed to get my GTi 6 plugged in at a local garage yesterday using a Delphi diagnostic system and it did talk to the ENGINE ECU so think it must either be something I'm doing wrong or the tool is faulty.

I dug out my laptop with pp2000 and for some reason it wasn't there
I've had my hands full with something else over the past few days
But I'll set it up and show you it working then you'll know if it's you or the hard/software Wink

Hey mate,

Sorry to bother you, just got my Diagnostic kit back out and tried it on another laptop in case it was that but had the same result unfortunately on both my pugs.

Don't suppose you have had time/any joy with yours??

Thanks
Rich
