Howmanyleft.com doesnt seem to differentiate between the phases?
Also, whats people's opinion on the best future classic? Phase 1 GTI6 or a rallye?
Cheers

Laytj wrote: whats people's opinion on the best future classic? Phase 1 GTI6 or a rallye? Cheers That is a question that has been debated on here since the beginning with Rallye owners claiming theirs are the best cars since only 500 were made and the GTi6 owners claiming theirs are the best as they were better equipped than the 'poverty spec' Rallyes. That was years ago when few ever thought they'd still be around in 2019 and prices are creeping up again. I happen to have both models and I'm unlikely to part with either (my 6 is a phase 3 though) so I'm probably just going to say both are best. What you really want to ask is what is the best colour to have!! ________________________________________ 1999 GTi-6 (china blue)1999 Rallye (black) |

My favourite colours per phase are Phase 1 sigma blue and white Phase 2 and 3 China blue and white Rallye it has to be white personally most of the colours look good some more than other obviously as the years have gone on and these cars are 20 plus years older the blaze colour has grown on me alot I was never a fan back in the day. Nile blue is my least favourite colour and moonstone is in the bottom of the list 2. If I could pick a colour Peugeot should of painted one from there factory colour is Miami blue it would probably look better in a phase 1 though as it would look a bit similar to an old 106 xsi ________________________________________ http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=163869 |

Moonstone and Blaze were always the least favourite colours, except amongst their respective owners of course! I personally like China blue, partly because I have one but also because I just think it suits the 306 shape. My Rallye is black which is not my favourite colour, just what I ended up with. I prefer white and glad I don't have a pink one!!________________________________________ 1999 GTi-6 (china blue)1999 Rallye (black) |

I've just learnt my 306 Gti-6 is a Phase 3 - I hadn't even realised there were different phases (mind you, being from NZ maybe that doesn't apply over here).I bought it new in 1999 (badged as an S16); Cherry Red (I vote that the best colour ); numberplate LE GTI6; I LOVE this car - it is and always will be my dream car and I hope it goes forever. Bog standard, decided not to chip it. Background (several moons ago in Oz) of motorsport - motorkhanas; lap dashes; dirt track lap dashes. One lady owner |

Ph1s are very uncommon, but Rallye's so far seem most collectable and seem to generate the most attention from the motoring press.I've had my ph.1 gti6 for 6.5 years now, I forget the mileage but it's still sub 70k. ________________________________________ 61k miles Ph.1 Diablo '6 Project Thread |

The rallye will be the car to have. Its a more exciting, limited edition version of the standard Gti. Although at the moment you can get one for around £1k.________________________________________ DIABLO GTI-6 - Legend - NILE GTI-6 - SoldCHERRY GTI-6 P1 SUPERCHARGED - Broken up BLACK RALLYE - Sold 205 Dturbo xud9 work horse - Dead CHERRY RALLYE - new toy |
