Fixing the FAQs would be good. Waybackwhen machine (google it) has lots of old versions of them and many have pics in.

Yep totally agree,..

I want to redo Alot of them as YouTube tutorials
But if anyone is carrying out any of the things in the FAQ section
And would like to take new pictures to replace broken links the threads can be updated! Thumbs up

Sadly Alot of them were linked to their own personal photobucket/flicker accounts and have deleted them hence the broken link
I'll look into it though and see if there's a way to retrieve any of them!

A monthly photo competition..... But instead of cars it's full frontal nude photos of members. Winner gets their photo as the page header.

I find Facebook groups OK but a pain when looking for specific info. The FAQ section here is a definite USP, and Youtube vids is an excellent idea.

Folks... what about adding new sections or sub-forums to the forum for the newer Peugeot top models / hot hatches? The German laguna2.eu forum for example was expanded several years ago and became renaultforum.net. At the same time one could port the whole forum to a current forum software / CMS.

Unfortunately we had to slim the forum down to keep the overheads down too so that we can keep it free for you guys,..
When we had a fee that covered the overheads of the forum everyone did one,..LOL
I'll crack on with some video tutorials in the new year! Big grin

Glad to see you are still going, used to spend a fair amount of time on these forums and they are a massive part of my old blaze gti6 being my favourite car I've owned!
I am on the hunt for another now, surprised they are not more sought after price wise being how capable and relatively scarce they are.

Hi guys, been a looooonngg while since I posted here. I miss it. Since helping to keep the group alive is on the cards, how about optimizing the group to cater for non Gti-6 vehicles? Mainly cars though obviously!

How about a paid subscription that offers access to Service Box seeing as they're charging for it now?

After last time the site was paid subscription? I don’t think so, I’d rather me n Dave kept paying at least the site is used and information is preserved, start charging again and we’re likely to lose everyone again.

Could make it optional? Cheap enough to cover Service Box subscription + a bit to cover site costs. No idea what costs are involved or how many you'd need to sign-up to cover those costs though.

A fair point, my apologies for appearing grumpy yesterday wasn’t in a great place. I’ll speak with Dave the optional donation thing could be an option....

That's what i kind of envisioned, an optional subscription at say £20 a year, if enough people did it to cover the cost of the servicebox annual subscription then make a shared servicebox account for those who are subscribed members and any profit made from our subscriptions then get chucked in to the bucket to cover the costs of running this place.
Keep this site as-is in terms of free to use for anyone but anyone who chooses to subscribe gets the access details to servicebox as the incentive to subscribe. I have no idea on any legal implications for this though.

If funds are tight for running this place just pm me some payment details and i'm happy to send some money over Thumbs up

No worries. I think everyone's on edge at the moment Crazy

Had a look at the 'subscriptions' bit on Service Box today. Parts lookup is £150 per year. If you want full access, to repair procedures etc, it's £2600!

However, there is a free alternative (for part number lookup) in the form of a Russian website that I've used for other marks previously ilcats.ru
