I've been thinking about changing to aftermarket pulleys as they have a different design.
Any input would be better

I've been having a issue with the camshaft pulley slipping on the adjustment section. Despite cleaning and thread locking threads and seriously tightening the centre bolt after awhile it will slip and retard the cam. It's happened a few times even with sandy during mapping. The only way I've been able to stop this happening is having the cam adjustment up against the stops.I've been thinking about changing to aftermarket pulleys as they have a different design. I thought the pulleys that spin round on the adjuster bolts were designed like that, so when fitted and tensioned the cam pulleys rotate round til they stop and is then done up?It's been a long while since I worked with a standard pulley on them tho. |

Yes I'm aware of how they work but that isn't my issue, the pulley moved once assembled and running ________________________________________ 1990 205 gti6 supercharged |
