Hi all,

Not posted on here for years as the Rallye has been off the road while I've been at uni. While its been off the road it's had an engine re-build amongst other work, and a few weeks ago was at the point of turning over, however, since then its suddenly decided to not turn over and very intermittently have power.

Sometimes when you turn the ignition absolutely nothing happens, sometimes the instrument panel lights come on, when they do if you go to try and turn it over or turn the headlights on etc, the power cuts out and wont come back on when the ignition is switched back on.

Worth noting that the battery is fine and also that the power occasionally decides to come back when testing fuses.

If anyone's got any ideas as to what's going on the help would be much appreciated!

Hmmmmm. Electrical problems are always fun.

Checked all the earths for good grounding? If its been stood, they may not be conducting well enough. Might be worth removing and cleaning up with fine emerynpaper and reseating all the fuses. Assume you've checked the battery connections are good and tight? Might also be worth having the two multiplugs at the front of the engine bay apart. A well known corrosion point.
