Crazy thought of the weekend, is it possible to convert to LHD on a RHD shell? I think the main issues are steering column mounting points? ________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

I helped a guy source the parts for a rally car that went from right to left hand drive. I don't think it was too bad for him to do. Obviously the steering rack also as well as dash etc. Then all the corresponding lhd bits like clutch cable. |

I'd imagine you need a bulkhead cut and the pedal box assembly from a LHD car.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

At that point it's probably just easier to get an LHD shell!________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

most likely, unless you already had a big weld in cage tied in everywhere, it doesn't appear to be that big a job as the panel isn't that big, drill out a ton of spotwelds, plug weld the new panel in place.the pressing might be there for the steering column to pass through but not cut out, but the bulkhead is a different panel. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

The cage in my car is nothing special so would probably just get something new made.I was mainly thinking of the balance benefit of both driver and engine not being on the same side of the car. I'm a big guy as it is, moving to LHD would offset the weight imbalance a bit. ________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |
