I've done it before with the bumper off, just wondering if its possible to do it with it in place.

It's possible with the bumper what I remember but it's difficult and at the end maybe less stressful with bumper off . |

Already done it,I had a quick look, it maybe is possible but for all the time it takes to take the bumper off I just decided to do it. Also replaced the alarm with one I had sitting here for ages while yhe bumper was off.________________________________________ '90 1.6 205 GTi, '98 306 GTi-6 |

Which alarm box did you use to replace yours, I've heard the ones of the early 206 will fit but all the ones I see on eBay look different? |

They all look exactly the same and have the same Texton number so if it looks different it probably is. ________________________________________ '90 1.6 205 GTi, '98 306 GTi-6 |

Ahh, it all makes sense now. I have a little box bolted to the underside of the ABS module, in the wheel well and I didn't think about the siren. I think the siren is missing on my car and there is a plug not connected to anything there, so I guess that plug is for the siren. Is the back up battery in the siren or that little box (alarm module) I'm on about above? Sorry hijacking your thread. |
