We made big inroads into getting my Sigma phase 1 up and running yesterday.

I bought a new radiator and a fan switch to screw into it. It looks like the loom does not have a connector for it and wondered if the temperature is taken from another sensor and perhaps there should be a blank in the radiator instead.

Phase 2/3 have sensor in the radiator but can someone please confirm if phase 1s are different.

Thanks in advance.

Erm I think you'll find phase 2/3 have all coolant temp senders in the thermostat housing.....

Phase 1 (non-AC) will have a blue fan switch in the rad and a blank in the thermostat hole - same as non-AC Rallye.

Mmmm, the donor engine now fitted had AC (now removed) and the loom and ECU is from that car too.

In that case, I presume my newly fitted sensor in the radiator is no longer needed?

Helps if I post in the correct section pn here to eh?!

It's the one I got from you Ryan in April '16, the rolling Sigma shell. Non AC car, engine and loom are AC.
