Im after a single gti6 piston if anyone has one available due to mine having what looks like valve contact in the middle of the piston.

I've run various 6 engines that have been cam.belt snappers previously including my current one that's put up with 260bhp and nothing but abuse (despite being meticulously maintained) for 4 years now.

Unless it's cracked the piston or caused damage close to the edge which would result in cylinder bore damage I wouldn't worry about it.

i did wonder this... whomever carried out the work before obviously didnt think it would cause much of an issue, never ran any different
