I'm having an issue where if I use the interior headlight tilt switch in the dash to the right of the steering wheel my nearside headlight moves up and down accordingly but my offside does not move at all, anybody have any ideas?

So I have taken the headlight out and replaced the motor, its all plugged in nice and tight but as you say scotzman my connections are very green! Which is probably the reason its not working, anyone recomend stuff to clean and a way to clean very small female connections? No room for a screwdriver or sandpaper... Tried contact cleaner but still looks green...

Try some WD40 and plug and unplug it a few times to scrape the contact area clean.

Wd40 leave to soak for an hour or two then electrical cleaning spray to remove residue and the crap that remains
cotton bud tips to agitate the green to remove with wd40

Clean and repeat

For any chunky electrical contacts fine grain lynishing paper of very fine dimond files

Wire tooth brush type tool are always good for this sort of thing!

I have this problem with my car but the opposite way around, the N/S being the culprit. Connections look good. Swapped the motors and still no joy. The problem presented itself with the N/S jumping up and down and then quitting. It is clicked in to the reflector properly. Could it be the roller switch? What fuse guards this circuit?

Mine did turn out to be green connectors, if you have a ph3 if you take the rubber sleeve off the connector you can then clip off the yellow plastic by pulling it up which exposes the connections so you can have a better look and a better clean Smile
