Hi Guys,

Since I got my car the fuel gauge hasn't worked, the needle sits on empty with the low fuel warning light on regardless of fuel level. I knew the previous owner had replaced the pump so had put it down to a stuck float arm or issue with the sender unit, especially after I had Carl at C.G cars have a quick look at it who said the needle on the gauge was moving fine when tested from the sender plug (?).

However the car has since broken down due to the fuel pump failing and has now been fitted with a brand new Siemens sender unit/pump by my local Peugeot main dealer, and guess what, still no gauge. Now I think it's unlikely the float could have got stuck on both units or that my new unit has a fault..

Any ideas? Should I just try another set of clocks?
