Hi all,

I am after some braided brake hoses for my Rallye and TBH do not trust any manufacturer of anything to get their facts right for my car (no Mintex, I do not have 266mm discs etc.).

So my question is in two parts: 1) Can anyone give me the definitive Goodridge part number for my car; 2) failing that do I go for rear disc cars up to 1997 or 1997 onwards?

And not surprisingly there is a third part to this question, is there another answer?

And possibly finally, if any of you can definatively supply me with a link to braided known name lines that will fit my car I will be eternally grateful.

all you need to do is check if you have ebd or a load compensator.

speak to kam racing or pugracing, both can sort you out.

not a fan of the goodridge kits i have seen, technically dont meet road use specs and unless you pay extra they go rusty.

Thanks WP. I have a load compensator. Didn't realise that about goodridge, thought they were one of the better ones. Will try both of those you have mentioned

Have a look at HEL as well for braided brake hoses.

I've had a Goodridge kit on my car since 2007. Never had any problems at all with them, and no signs of rust.

Doesn't rain much inside your centrally heated garage then? Weird...
