I've just got a 2nd hand omp strut brace off ebay and looking through the forums you need longer than standard bolts to fit it. Seems you need m8 x 20mm so are these what I need? Also do I still use the standard washers?

yeah you can do mate! all they do is hold the suspension leg to the chassis
as long as the bolt get enough purchase through the top hat plate it's all good!

the washers will just stop you marking up the plate from the strut brace! Wink

Be careful on length they only need to be longer by a few mm obviously the same mm as the plate on the brace
To long and you will risk grinding the top spring cup
My white rallye came to me with this issue
It destroyed the mount thread and all needs replacing

Ah okay ill take one off and measure it then the plate width to check I won't be overdoing it with 20mm, I was more worried about strength and stuff don't want the bolt snapping on me...

The OE 16mm bolts on my top mounts were 10.9, but Phillipm said in this thread that the difference would not matter in this application.

The 6923 G6 20mm bolt is listed as a water pump bolt and I got some from a Pug dealer

From my project thread:

I got the new slightly-longer bolts from Peugeot today (6923 G6, M8 x 125 x 20mm), and couldn't resist getting the strut brace installed straight away.

Those 10.9 are probably from the subframe cup there almost exactly the same but 10.9 instead of 8.8
