This particular issue has a section headed "why 1990's beats 80's, how peugeots £2k 306 GTI-6 rewrites hot hatch history" worth a read and good to see others recognising these beauties.. Cheers.

Was at Waterloo station Friday night waiting for the train, and quickly glanced through this mag, 306 had the wrong rear lights on it though. |

Nothing arrived and I looked at their confirmation e-mail and it said I should have had another e-mail confirming the order has been "processed". I e-mailed and pointed out that I had not received the second e-mail or my magazines and a somewhat leisurely two days later I received a response apologising and saying that the order had been put through again and I would receive them in 14 - 28 days. What breathtaking haste to rectify an oversight on their part. I've e-mailed back commenting I'm not sure why a simple order such as this should take up to an additional 28 days when the original delivery timeframe was 10 days, and pointed out that they seem to be telling me that I could be waiting for up to 56 days (almost 2 months folks) for someone to select half a dozen magazines, put them in an envelope and post them. In this day and age I could have them through my front door by the weekend if they pulled their collective finger out. We want to support car magazines, especially those that cover that almost totally neglected era between the end of Triumph Stag production and before anything 5 - 8 years old, but the service level demonstrated thus far by this company is woefully inadequate IMO. Maybe we have been spoilt by the likes of Amazon and ebay. My second e-mail elicited an auto-response saying I can expect a reply within 2 working days. Sounds like a government bureaucracy rather than a commercial enterprise. ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye SOLD |
