Hi gents
Can Any one throw some advice over tyre sizes
Ive just picked up some cyclones with 205s on and 185s widths
Am looking to replace them with a proper set of four
But was wandering what difference the already fitted, with relation to performance n handling will have
Cheers Smile

What corners have what widths? Ideally you want 185/195 on clones imo. And i would certainly keep the same sizes on all corners. But im not a tyre expert so someone else could tell you something different. Performance wise, you might be best with original tyres size but a better tyre.

You can get better response with a lower profile but it will knock your spedo out of sync and give you a s**tty gap in your arches.

original is 195/55/15 but I find for performance if your car is slightly lowered 195/50/15 is the size to run better in the corners less move on the sidewalls

195/55/15 of you have standard ride height. depends what you want out of it. If your just driving it on the road and it's standard t1rs are more than good enough

certainly wouldn't be my first choice.

Avon used to do their zv5 in a 55 profile, continental may do as well, michelin dont do a sport orientated tyre in a 55 unfortunately

I was hoping I could recommend the Dunlop Sport BluResponse's however the wear rate on them is shocking, as it seems the fronts on my 6 have only managed 11k, and they're nearly down to the wear band! It seems a lot of folks over on TyreReviews.co.uk seem to agree the wear rate isn't brilliant. I don't exactly hoon it everywhere either.

I think I'll opt for the Vredestein Sportrac 5's next time as they seem to be as good as the Dunlops except the wear is a lot more acceptable!

not E marked.

tyres for asia and Australia are often quite different compounds amd construction to a northern hemisphere tyre.
