Hey guys,

Recon this is anything to worry about? i was going round a roundabout (no one in sight) and i decided to put my foot down to test my tires grip out. very impressed by the grip, but i looked down and the oil light was on! i slowed down immediately, and it went out. i recon it was only on for a few seconds at most. probably doing close to 30mph.

i serviced the car the other day, so oil is around 3/4 on the dipstick between empty and full. i was waiting till i could park it on a level surface to fill it all the way to full. my drive is on a bit of an incline.

fair point, but you still need to wait a good 20 minutes or so for the oil to cool down and return to the sump...

You want 4.5 to 4.7 L to fill it properly depending on how well you drained it chap Smile
