Aside from the head unit and exhaust, this is a 100% original Black Rallye. It is due a cambelt change, this was last done at 78k miles, I can have this done but it would add to the cost. The engine is quiet and although the exhaust rear silencer, centre section and cat are non-genuine, they are some of the better ones I've seen.

I bought this car earlier in the year from a garage. It had had one owner from new, not that this is any indication of how a car has been looked after, unfortunately there is little service history but I do believe it to be honest, unlike the guy I bought it from.

The exterior is in overall good condition for the age, there is a small dent ahead of the rear near-side wheel arch that I would think could be pulled out fairly easily. There are other very minor dings, one above the rear bumper and some slight ones atop the front wings (the usual mechanics leaning on them type). There is no lacquer peel, although there is some minor corrosion at the front bottom corners of the doors and where the boot spoiler sits. I do have the original spoiler although it's fairly oxidised. I also have a gloss black one that the buyer is welcome to have. There are numerous tiny specs/stone chips on the bonnet.

The interior is in very good condition. The driver's seat bolster is dropped slightly but intact. The rear is in very good nick with only a small hole in the near side bench. The car has the optional aircon. The carpet is coming away from the door seal slightly at the driver's side footwell, seat belt release buttons and window winders are faded.

The car has had some rust patched up behind the offside front jacking position. The alloys have been refurbed fairly well recently.

There are a couple of areas of corrosion in the engine bay in what seem to be the usual places, by the washer fluid bottle etc. There are also a couple of areas that look to have been nibbled by rodents. I've removed the sound proofing from under the bonnet as it was falling to bits.

I'm being brutally honest about the car, it does have minor issues. That being said it is a Black Rallye and if I had the space I'd keep it but I have a couple of other project cars on the go.

Email me with any questions/photo request, am open to offers.

Was never a paying member so never had a chance to reply to this

For anyone that cares the car's still going strong, is pretty rusty has had some welding done

Currently sitting on 127K with an advisory less MOT

Also has a clutch cable that refuses to stay on the pedal as mentioned in another thread on the forum

I wish, never worked when I bought it I cut the pipes off and removed the radiator as it wasn't in the best condition, got the bits to put back in from another car if I ever get round to it

I've never experienced working aircon in a 306 in nearly 20 years of ownership but I'm led to believe it was fairly crap anyway, so you're not missing out on much.

Aircon has been working in all of my 306'. They are not bad. Though while lifting the engine out of my 6 it catched the aircon pipe and broke it off. Now it's bad.
