A pressure washer down inside the manifoled can dislodge a fair bit of the congealed oil but probably some sort of solvent if you want it all out.________________________________________ 61k miles Ph.1 Diablo '6 Project Thread |

I used to just use car shampoo and a sponge to get the majority of the crap off, but it was a bit messy when i first got the car so i used autosol and a wire wheel to get it nice and clean, then kept on top of it with the car shampoo every time i washed the car after that. Took a fair while to clean the first time but it came up nice and still looks presentable to this day.________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

Does the inlet manifold gunk up over time, in your experiences? What else in the inlet system can benefit from a clean after 100k miles? Cheers. ________________________________________ SmartyMy lil toy: http://www.flickr.com/photos/martincurtisphotography/sets/72157640014140786/ |
