Evening Guys,
Had my tyres changes a few weeks ago and my car has now been back to 2 garages in the chain and the wheel balanced 4 times to no avail. Each time the amount of steering wheel wobble at 75-85 has changed but not gone. They have no claimed that one of the wheels is buckled as you can see it moving on the machine. Tried saying that they need to fit a 65mm adapter on teh 4 bolt spider but they weren't taking the info on board.

Anyway anyone know of a tyre fitter round Exeter way who can balance the pug wheels before i go down the buckled wheel route. I'm not saying they are wrong, but was little to no vibrations before the new tyres

What tyres ??? What wheels ?
Also when refitting the wheels are the mounting surfaces clean n free from build up it doesnt take much to unbalance the wheel if not fitted properly

Would definately get a look at those surfaces get them scrubbed n try a refit if you have vibration at 80+ will most likely be the rears

Try putting the fronts on the rears and seeing if the vibration starts at a different speed

It's both ends, you can feel the vibration though the car about 70-75 then through the wheel between 75-85. When they did it last time I asked them to swap the wheels round and problem the same after Dunno Next time I'll get the faces cleaned for sure.

I have three sets of cyclones and the all wobble when not prepped for fitting e.g cleaned surfaces my speed line and my motorsports dont cyclones are apparently a b**ch to balance doesent mean it cant be done

If there where buckled they should of told you first time in
One of my clyclones is bolloxed but my local can get it to run smooth

Find someone with the skill and care to give a s**t

Update, went to a different tyre fitter in Exmouth as recommended by my brother in law. 30 minutes later the car is fixed with no wobbles what so ever.

Call to the head office of the other company and they are going to cover the cost of me going elsewhere as they failed to balance the wheels. The wheels were miles out according to the other company and no buckled wheels ?!?
