Hello everyone. New to the forum though have been reading through threads on here for a couple of months.

I can't work out how to upload pics but will tell you where I'm at.

I bought a dark blue ph3 a couple of months ago which had been partially converted for track use. I use it solely for the track but it is all done in a budget, not a car that will have thousands thrown at it.

When I bought it it had been lowered on spax, yellow stuff pads, standard brembos.
Cyclones with T1r's
Half Cage
Partially Stripped
Induction filter (hanging down into the bottom of the engine bay).
Aluminium Rad
Seats and Harnesses

I have done

Replaced all fluids with quality ones.
Cambelt
Ferodo DS2500 pads with standard Brembo Discs
Yoko AD08r all round
Ally Panel Sunroof Delete
Short Shifter and linkages
Finished stripping it out but haven't yet pulled the dash or door cards.
Front alignment set parrallel, I checked the rear figures just for the condition of the beam and it all looked pretty good.

There is a question at the end of all this, as I said, it's all done on a budget, I've been trying to use good parts for what I have done but don't really want to get involved in dropping a fortune on the engine etc.

Where should I go next? I've had it out on the track a couple of times now and the handling is great but like everyone, I always want a bit more.

C5 Steelies with brake ducting would be the only thing I can think of that will make any real difference for the money. Any other ideas greatly appreciated.

Welcome Thumbs up

Plenty of clever ....knowledgeable buggers on here & a few who have Raced or race .....hope you got deep pockets also ?
I've been skint since coming on here 3years ago LOL

To make a big difference you may have to put your hand in your pocket sadly LOL

1st choice 3j Plate diff for massive diff or for low maintenance not so much but still great improvement a Quaife diff Thumbs up £450-£650 fair bit of work to fit .

2nd choice quick rack ....2.4 Vts1 or 2.6vts2 even £100-£160 ok to fit ....

3rd Satchel shift ....if you can get one:..... but quite a bit of work to fit ! But if your happy with gear change now leave it Thumbs up

As (Russian Guy) Denis on here said ...it's the little bits that add up to a lot ....look his project up very interesting read

Happy with the gear change and actually happy with the rack. I don't think I would be getting involved in an LSD, I think that's when you start building a proper machine then all of a sudden I'm going to be into coilover, machined hubs etc etc and I just don't want to go down that road. I'm into it for less than 3 grand including 2 new sets of tyres and as far as I'm concerned, that's a cheap way to have fun.

Biggest surprise so far, showing a type r civic the way round Abingdon last week. Have had a look on the forums since and apparently this should come as no surprise to me, but as a guy of a certain age, I always thought those things were properly rapid.
