On an engine with a standard sump and standard internals would I be risking oil surge if using something like a048s? Or am I better off staying with ad08rs?

I'm looking at options for track tyres. Essentially I'm a bit concerned about oil surge, which I have heard can be a particular problem at mallory. On an engine with a standard sump and standard internals would I be risking oil surge if using something like a048s? I've used R888's on track many times with standard sump (with trap door) and never had a problem.________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

I can pull 1.4G through the corners in the race car and see no issues with oil surge, you should be fine I was worried about it with the new engine so have been monitoring the data logger closely!________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |
