So if anyone could give some advice and also a good brand of head gasket!

And if so any tips ?I've done head gaskets before but when autodata says its an 8 hour job, sound like its going to be a pita! So if anyone could give some advice and also a good brand of head gasket! Thanks |

Oil shouldn't be leaking from the headgasket! It's more likely to be leaking from the rocker cover gasket |

Happens on TU engines all the time 8v and 16v leak from the front drivers corner of the head gasket but wouldn't know about an 8v 2.0. As said rocker cover is more likely. Wash it all off completely with brake cleaner then run it and see where it's actually coming from. As far as head gaskets I say go genuine or don't bother as any from factors are made of fiber not steel and cost as much if not more than from pug. Last time I bought one for a 6 was about £45 for a multi layer steel original. ________________________________________ Black power baby! As said clean it off and make sure its not the cam cover as it's a huge thing on those, H/G is dead simple on them and will be the same time as the 16v.H/G wise use a Payen set, No need for original as they never used MLS gaskets ________________________________________ 306 Rallye Sptint/Race Car, 205 CTI 1.9 8v to name a fewRoad, Track and Race/Rally car preparation to your personal requirements, Full Workshop & Diagnostic Facilities New and Second parts, from Plugs to Turbo's We now also carry out Routine Servicing www.pugracing.com & FB Page, https://www.facebook.com/PugRacing Ebay; http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Pug-Racing-Shop 2012/2013/2014/2019 Class Winners at Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb & Joint overall, Class record too along the way, |
