Well its time to design and plan and make my little Workshop extension onto the back of my garage…Im struggling for space and when i need to work on the 306 ive got to move 3/4 of a hrs worth of stuff this will be for just parts and tools leaving the car easy to walk around and work on This is a very brief quick drawing of it with a side roller shutter door i can open in the dry weather to give me space to work inside & out easily Its 3.5metres x 3.2 metres cavity wall for warm with Engineering bricks and thermalite bricks inside and wood beam room with Celatex insulation and concrete floor with rubber tiles …basically same as my garage and a door way up steps to enter the garage… Hopefully starting it with a friend next weekend |

Interesting stuff mate. I've just had a new garage drawn up and it's gone in for planning a couple of weeks ago. Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly and once it's built i can focus on getting my track car back up and running again. It's no fun having to dig everything out from round the car to work on it only to have to put it all back when you're done for the day!Keep us posted on your progress ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

Looks good so far mate! Yeah i've had a garage but its long and narrow so it just makes it awkward working on anything other than the front of the car, factor in that im a bit of a hoarder and the little space i once had is now filled with spares, tools etc. I'll add some photos to my project thread once the build starts. ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

Cant beat more space. Best thing when we moved last year was having a large garage to be able to work on the motors without having to mess about. its made the world of difference. ________________________________________ My 306 Rallye Project ThreadFew recent Youtube track videos, more on my channel Pair of Rallye's doing a few laps of Anglesey Lap of Anglesey Coastal 3 sisters circuit Few laps at Blyton |

[/quote: Totally agree Ben m8 Sadly my large garage has to much racking and a chest freezer and all my stuff / welder / plasma / floor mounted pillar drill / compressor etc Not leaving me much room for me to move around my 306 Im hoping this Workshop will free some needed space |
