Big important update Need my power steering back because my Citroen Mk1 -2.4 quick rack is beating the SH-T out of me at Prescott and Combe So ——Finally bit the bullet and ordered a BCE Pro EPAS power steering kit ...basically it’s a purposely made setup similar to the Corsa B EPAS in a nutshell ...has it’s own ECU That can be configured if required on a laptop as well as 5 standard assist settings and off switch ... I’m building a space type frame for it off the roll cage and bringing it much further back to the seat... |

Received the EPAS power steering kit Must admit it’s bloody expensive but is very well made ....let’s hope it works as good as it looks ? It’s all programmable on a laptop if your into tinkering I’ll just be using the 6 adjustable turn switch settings for now |

Two very large fixing screws ..I’ll make a plate to come off of the dash roll cage with a space frame type system with some nice big Holes in the metal to save as much weight as possible The motor unit looks like a Renault one removed from a car and rewired ? |

Serviced the old Citroen MK1 2.4 quick rack today had it apart and cleaned all the old grease out and put new grease inside and fitted x2 new boots at the same time ...much smoother and with the old WD40 nozzle the new boots bellow in and out without sucking or ballooning either way now Had to fettle down a little of the alloy ram bracket which I don’t use because I dropped the engine 25mm it just touched a little .... Fitted the Rack again and now onto making a new steering column to fit my EPAS . |

WD40 nozzle used below new boot to stop sucking and balloning when hot / warm on track You can see the effect and feel the difference when cold after moving the steering fast side to side in the vice .... So say old BTCC trick on CV boots all over the car |
