Some good progress there. I've seen some pictures of a satchell tubular subframe somewhere, think it was for a 205 but same basic design should fit a 306 with alterations. Not thought about going down that route? Would save a bucket load of kg's! My welding mask uses batteries, not impressed when I blinded myself and then couldn't buy new ones because of lock down! Had to order some which ended my fun for the day. ________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |

that would likely have been Colin's own car, lots of significant alterations to geometry needed to accommodate the Xu engine relocated to be sitting bolt upright thiugh originally retaining a BE gearbox casing significantly modified (billet bellhousing welded on from memory!)________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Blimey Pete not only stupid me then ...luckily it stayed dark Mei is correct it’s Colin’s car and now he has a Maxi motorsport full Sequencial he had to cut and shorten things even more because his engine as said is more upright and he also had to shorten his home made dry sump pan more ...it’s shoe horned into that bay for sure |

Well another day another slight change of plan ....Just got told off by Sandy for even thinking about using a (AT dry sump) and refused to have anything to do with it So Spoke to Peter Mcglashan/ Pete_Rallye on here and he’s sourced me a new PACE system from one of his many contacts and I’m collecting it from his m8 10days time ... That’s not going to be fitted this year because Sandy needs to strip and clean the engine and modify it for the sump plus do my Cam-belt and water pump at the same time.... Just need to start collecting the bits now ready ...5litre Oil tank off (Think Automotive) which is made by the old PACE owner for them and all the fittings NOT cheap .... So next job tomorrow fit all the new upper / lower engine mounts and Start to look at fitting the Sequencial gear-lever and connections |

Glad to be able to help! I used BMRS pro gold hoses for mine and Rally Design are by far and away the cheapest place to buy them from, still cost me upwards of £500 though. Its good stuff, very flexible and lightweight. Some people don't like convoluted hose as it could provide nice little 'trenches' for crap to hide in but I don't think its an issue. There's lots of cheaper options, IE steel fittings and push on hose and the Torques stuff is ok too but I figured when you'e got that much money invested in an engine for the sake of a few hundred quid its worth paying the extra. ________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |

Yes agree and Thank you again Pete Sadly I’ve always used Goodridge and I know it’s overpriced but as of yet over 30years never failed me and Merlin Motorsport which is 7miles away look after me ... I’ve personally found Rally Design are a brilliant to deal with also Your a top bloke Pete x |
