After much thought & wanting to take my 16yr old in my car round Combe ..I've gone & stripped my 6 & I'm having a full welded in Cage by Mike Edwards in Heathrow .

Really did want to use PhillipM but we had to drive the car both ways & it was just too far sadly ...
I'm going to post a few update pics I received yesterday ....

After listening to AdamB & les plus seeing Lwilliams car totalled at Combe & walk away because of a cage.... plus others saying I'd be in big trouble without one ....I've gone & done it !

I'm keeping it road going & hoping to keep it that way ..who knows LOL

You won't regret it mate the cage will help handling so much plus you get the benefit of feeling like you're going to war every time you clamber in Smile. what suspension have you decided on? I've got black art designs and would say they are awesome?

yeah Mike the pipe turns out cracking work, and yes he does make most of Sandy's exhaust manifolds, and a lot of world class hotrods, rally cars etc.
