Guys,

Can't access service box at the mo as I did a reinstall on my tablet and haven't got my Rallye's V5 to hand for the VIN.....

Looking around at brake compensators, I've found two Peugeot part numbers.

4861.85 which I believe is the part number for the 6/Rallye. There is an identical looking unit, 4861.84 but I can't figure for what model this would be for.

Now I thought all 306's with rear disc brakes were the same in terms of caliper and disc etc, so you'd assu!e the compensator would be the same? Would this other numbered one perhaps be for a drum brake model?

Don't need a vin for servicebox.

there are two calipers for the rear of a 306, 30 and 32mm piston, you also have small and big brake drums, ans /non abs.

So you don't reckon replacing an 85 with an 84 would be a wise idea?
