How do you remove the coil packs? or do i need to remove the brake fluid reservoir?

or use an Allen key bit in combination with a ratchet spanner or open ended spanner. A bit of a faff but can be done easily enough________________________________________ 1999 GTi-6 (china blue)1999 Rallye (black) |

All bolts removed from the cover, yes the bolt under it was a right belend, but now i cant get the cover past the metal part of the resovoir without possibly (?) Damaging the coils. |

Cover should get past the master cylinder without having to remove it. XSi engine looks slightly different but should still wiggle off to reveal coil packs.________________________________________ 1999 GTi-6 (china blue)1999 Rallye (black) |

Isn't xsi 1 twin coil running wasted spark joined all together? But yes remove the strut brace first or no chance on an xsi.________________________________________ Black power baby! i have an xsi.... tis more fiddly than the gti as the coil packs are built into the cover....but it can be done without removing athinythign else. tis quite fiddly to wrangle off and even fidd;lierr to wrangle back on but not undoable ________________________________________ the world is changed by people in sheds |
