I have a set of Re profiled Kent Pt 81's,


The inlet was reprofiled by Peter T last year to the following:

advertised duration 272 deg.
duration @ 0.050" 230 deg.
max lift 0.410

They did about 100 miles before I went with a supercharged engine and used standard cams


£350 including postage worldwide

What are they mate? Re profiled standard cams to PT81 spec??

I doubt it as you can't do that I think they are re profiled pt81

standard cams can be re-profiled.

these are Kent cams with a further modified inlet profile.

Its difficult to get a decent photo of the stamps on them but WelshPug is correct, these are a set of Kent Pt81's. The inlet was sent to Peter T who re-profiled it to the specs listed above.

These would definitely need a deeper pocket in the piston cut out to avoid bending valves.

These made excellent power when fitted to a pretty much standard engine on throttle bodies.

I know that dude I meant you can't reprofile std cams to pt81 spec

you can re-profile any cam to any spec, Just takes a little work

I've seen a couple of sets on here that have been re profiled to PT81 spec, by Peter T if I remember correctly Smile
