That's a f**king p**s take! Get on the phone to trading standards as they are clearly mugging you off!
Also have you got an itemised breakdown of the costs?

Just about, you need to look at the top of the gearbox and then slightly towards the left underneath the inlet manifold. You will need to remove the inlet manifold to do the job though. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Starter motor solenoid it's was getting power from the ignition but wasn't kicking the starter in. It does seem to turn over a lot quicker now than before I had issues so fingers crossed. It was just short of £300.00. £129.00 for starter £70.00 labour and £45.00 towing plus vat originally I though it was £300 plus vat.Thing is it seems a lot not sure how much a starter is brand new but the rest seems reasonable got it invoiced has the van so I'll claim the VAT back ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |

That starter does indeed seem dear, I would have put a new starter in the £80 bracket, but as Rat says, the rest seems very reasonable. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
