Looks like front hub carriers for Phase 1 are difficult to get hold of new.

Whats the difference between Phase 1 and Phase 2 or 3 ?

balljoint clamp diameter.

also construction, early are bent I beam shape, later are hollow cast, no difference in weight, but meant to be stiffer.

So Phase 1 are 16mm Ball joint diameter and others 18mm then.

early ph2 had 16mm too
only real way of telling is measuring them as many people have converted from 16 to 18 like myself

yep, early hollow cast were 16mm still.

I've found the crossover to 18mm is usually ph2.5.

    Do any of the Car parts suppliers sell a complete hub/bearing/carrier ?

    Looks like separately these 3 items cost about £150 + vat per side (gulp!)
