Rang Wil today who runs it ...he's a Architect & runs it as a side Line ...seems a really nice bloke ...he's really well known on the Citreon forums ...so say ....he does have a few items there for me to look at the quality of Said pop round tomorrow which I'm doing & will do a Club discount He has Citreon tailgate & bonnet & a few select other bits ....but 98% is made to order . Also something else I asked is what stuff is or can be made in Carbon & was told only small bits because of lack of Autoclave or something ... He did say the quality double skin fit is second to non...we shall see ... I'm considering GRP / Fibreglass now as I will end up getting the bonnet & Tailgate sprayed even it was Carbon ..silly I know ...but the GRP is quarter of the price & even He said why ?...I know Carbons better stiffer but my Carbon roof has faded white in places in 6months & looks terrible so I'll get it all sprayed at the same time ? His Maxi Airboxes look interesting also GRP & Carbon available ...shall take pics & post tomorrow guys |

If it wasn't sprayed with a UV proof lacquer/polyurethane, etc, then the white is UV damage in the epoxy itself, where it's starting to break down. Get a coat of lacquer over it asap before the epoxy starts to crack and the fibres get exposed. ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. You could bend the 306 roof skin with your little finger, it's about 0.6mm or something silly ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Aesthetically my roof is bloody marvellous - bare carbon on the underside is the absolute dogs!!!No major weight loss and 100% useless for motorsport, but I've no plans to do rallying/hill climbs etc so I'm happy as Larry!! ________________________________________ 99/S Carbon Gti-5 |
