So after going up the arse of a taxi on the way home from getting the gti6 mapped I found a white rallye shell about 3 hours away so picked that up on Sunday. There's a long way to go but always preferred the rallyes after having a few 106s aswell

Will try and keep photos and what not up to date also

Gti6 spec is
Refurbed axle
Spax suspension
Speed line wheels ns2r tires
Decat and piper exhaust
45mm jenveys itg filter
Omex500
That's the good stuff anyway and it made 198bhp when it was mapped which is good.

Also has a bent front chassis leg an ruff paint work hah

Rallye is a bit tidier needs attention the the front jacking points area with the welder but hopefully not a big job..

Well after a change off plan decided to use the phase one as there less common and
The whole car is in better condition.
Got the engine and most good
Bits off the gti6 and started stripping the phase one today. Just a few pics at the moment will be
More when
The good bits are being put back on. Will also be upgrading a lot off parts throughout the year and so
How the car changes as time goes by.

Satshift finally arrived so got that semi fitted.
Also ripped the abs out will be all new lines with braided flexis and an In car adjustable bias valve.
Welded up a few patches on inner arches but is in prity good shape for a phase1.
Fitted a new timing belt and water pump
Kit to the engine which wil do the trick maybe a few more engine goodies when cars going and set up good.
Awaiting roller bearings arms and solid axle
Mounts from ash so hopefully get a good shift in this weekend as the misses is away all weekend. And will try get pics as I do things.
Hoping to have engine fitted brakes finished and
Mot'd by 5th may for a track night at knockhill here's hoping thou.

Well engines back in and turning over should have new nissens rad and water hose for the weekend so will be a busy Friday night fitting that and bleeding brakes before test drive for mot this Saturday and hoping to do knockhill track night following Thursday so will be a good test for the car.
Ordered some Mintex 1155 fitted in car bias valve new braided flexis all
Copper pipes renewed. Once it's back rolling and on the road will
Gradually change parts and upgrade a lot throughout the year and see how it changes.

Worked rite threw Saturday night till 7am sat morning then got it tested on Saturday and it passed fine thankfully.
Can now upgrade things as I'm using it.

Only question is I couldn't get it to sit at idle proper when let off the throttle so had so adjust the tps to get it rite. But will adjusting it affect the anything else when running

Fired thenold pug up last week for first time in months. Small power steering leak from the relocation hose but no buggy. Also managed to pick up a set off hi spec 4 pots and a richw flywheel and a set off sparco seats. so have a few jobs to do before it's on the road again. Also may look for some 21mm tb for the axle. Hopefully get to lnockhill more than once this year to.
