Just noticed my bonnet is sitting low at the front drivers side corner, at the headlight. Roughly 5mm lower than what it should be. Had a look at the hinges to see if everything is sitting right, it has been off before as the bolts have socket marks on them - seems fine though. It doesn't look bent or anything. The other side is perfect. Any ideas?

Is the bonnet rubber set correctly ?

Ah, I'm not at home just now so won't can check until tomorrow. If the rubber wasn't there would it sit lower than usual? I've got a feeling it's probably missing

Well if it's on one side at not the other then yes it would sit funny

Is your air intake original removal of this can sometimes let it drop

Well just checked to see if the rubbers are sitting correctly and they seem fine. Don't really know what else to check... Dunno

Did you leave something in the engine bay that makes the other side higher?
