Hi after trying to remove my td pro 1.2 s from my v6 i snapped the locking wheel nut key and bolt, ive manged to remove the other 3 by hammering on a multi hex socket, but the orginal won't budge any ideas there's only 10 mm left of the offending bolt the rest snapped off and is stuck in the key. ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |

Drill it........Utter pain in the arse when this happens. Normally, you can hammer a socket on....unless you are any good with a welder and can weld a socket to the stud, it's drill time. ________________________________________ Cherry Red Rallye .... Big f**k off sharp ones.A decent set of metal drill bits, sharp ones, will do it. Plenty of cutting fluid, wd40 does a good job. Low speed on your drill and take your time. ________________________________________ Cherry Red Rallye .... On going OEM spec restoChina Blue GTi6 .... Weekend toy Black 208 GTi .... Drill with a tungsten bit as close to the thread as pos hammer in screw driver twist out the heat from the drilling should shift it if you can get a reversed tap bit that fits it will make things easier (Dont force the drilled old stud into the thread will cause it to stick more best way to drill the centre is to centre punch the stud before drilling try to centre the drilling it helps ________________________________________ BLACK RALLYE - phoenixWHITE RALLYE - valliant http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history |

Nope waiting for some Irvin damaged bolt things to turn up, they look like they might work. For s**tty wheel bolts that snapped so easy it proving very hard to drill though. Think it's my cars way of keeping it self alive abit longer . ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |
