Suppose I'd better do a bit of an update seeing as I finally know what direction I'm going in!So the last 4/5 months have been a right pain in the arse trying to decide what to do, not a bad position to be in I suppose but too many choices made it the total opposite. After playing with the idea of 4x4ing the carbon car, I ended up buying the 306 4WD that Pug Performance built years ago thinking that was definitely the way to go. It wasn't. After endless discussions with various parties I decided that there were too many unknown outcomes in the equation and that it could very much become a project that just swallowed pots and pots of money, so it was sold on to someone abroad. That car now no longer exists, it was stripped!! Now with the 4WD idea miles out of the window, I found myself left with the 550 bhp T16 engine(perfect engine for the 4WD car by the way)and the carbon car. Not really where I wanted to be so the T16 engine went up for sale and I decided to search for a high powered n/a engine! Since then I've been very lucky and found an absolute corker of an engine tucked away somewhere, plus I've also found a sequential box to go on the side of it!! So fingers crossed, I may actually get some decent track time in this year..... Chris ________________________________________ 99/S Carbon Gti-5 |

Sounds good any details on the n/a engine, guessing it's going to be something spectacular if it's instead of the turbo lump. Look forward to seeing progress |

Yup and yup Shame u are not going maxi style with such a powerful na engine T16 engine with evo 4 4wd would've been good No it's nothing to do with Brett mate - we had a little disagreement over him trying to charge me £60 an hour just to quote me for three engine build options!! I would only have the done the 4WD if it was an all Peugeot affair. That would have been the ultimate, but the transmission problems were giving me sleepless nights ha Oh mate tell me about it - really wish I hadn't sold that White dimma last summer now! You'll like this one though, Noel offered me his carbon dimma for £9k today ________________________________________ 99/S Carbon Gti-5 |
