Does anyone know who makes the head bots with the male torx head on them? Are pug ones like that?
Everywhere I look seems to have the female head. Cheers.

I'm sure the BGA head bolts are the ones your talking about. The last ones I fitted were a male head needing a female head socket.

Bolts number listed on here.

Standard Pug bolts have a male head, pattern aftermarket tend to be female head which I don't like overly much.

I'm sure as WP says they used to have a female T55 head but genuine ones now come with a male head on as in E12 or something like that. Doesn't make any difference anyway.

If you run high lift cams the buckets get scarily close to the top of the female bolts. Probably won't ever touch but I'd prefer to run the male bolts as there's plenty of clearance then...

As per martins post, BGA make some, part number BK6328,
Elring make some also, part number 129.900
Both seem to be around £20/set

No where seems to stock them though so best not to leave it till the day you need them to get them...

Peugeot still do them too, at £7.88 each!

Pete, IIRC there's a motor spares shop in Selby that does them, it's where I got mine from. I'll try dig up the receipt....
