Tried searching but only found for sale and faults with not info on.

Thinking on the future a bit more power would be nice, but what are the drawbacks from running a low boost set-up. Is it easy to live with, noisy, require more maintenance, troublesome to insure etc?

The problem with it is that your bolting a supercharger onto a old standard engine.
Its a time game of how long it will last.

Having said that i was low boost for 2 years before mine gave up.
Its easy to live with and drives the same but quicker.

I loved low boost to be honest, think its a good upgrade to bring an old car upto todays motoring.
