the main issue with running oversized wheels on a 306 is that there's nothing decent out there small enough to fit, closest size to the o.e is 205 40 17.215 40 http://tinyurl.com/lpaenhw ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

something more track orientated is the Kumho V70A.http://tinyurl.com/motgntv I think we've used them on the old narrow body saxo rally car and found them pretty decent. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I know AdamB rates them higher and theyre cheaper than the R888, which is by now a very old design.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

AD08's were excellent for me in 15" but i hear they are great in 17" too.A guy i know of runs a 500bhp Audi TT with them fitted and rates them. The Saloon championship at Combe use them, and all is well. I've just bought a set of Federal 595 RSR's. Cheap tyre and a rival to the Nankang NS2-R. ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

595 RSRs are great for the price but do lack the performance of 888s or the equivalent. We run Dunlop DZ03Gs on the race car in 16" and I love them. Not sure how they compare to others but they're a lot better than RSRs.If you're on 17" you might be able to pick up some second hand slicks? ________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

not advisable to run slicks on a road car biased setup, the spring rates needed and the geometry they use is very different.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I'm then going for New R888R for Circuit tyres when they are available sometime this bloody year ?....so say 2 secs a lap quicker than old 888Rs I so wish they did Dunlop Dzo3Gs in 205/40/17 they are by far the best all round tyre I've ever used & only just over £100 each !!!!.....run them on 16s but are 611 high & do rub a little 205/50/16 |

Spoke to my tyres & they said they are even good down to the canvas & my fronts are & I didn't notice ? Spoke to My Tyres who distribute them & said the best operating temp they found was 30-31,hot & I tried that out a Combe last time & they were even better if that's possible Gutted I cant have them on my Mo5s have to keep my pro1.2 for them as they are that good These R888R are making a big name for themselves in 15s that have come in already !!! But are £70 each tyre more expensive £176.00 blimey How's the Omex bodies going ?????? |

I've just bought a set of Yokohama AD08R's in 215 45 17 for the Corolla, this was after a considerable amount of really anal research... They cost £400 from Demontweeks, I think they were definitely worth a punt at that money.Just be careful AD08's are the old tyres, AD08R's are the ones to go for http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/tyres-2/yokohama-advan-neova-ad08r-tyre ________________________________________ Get used to seeing the yellow one !!!Team 330™ Team "no front end or engine" Team "LIMITED EDITION" I live for the 306 sticker Team 0-60 in 6.44 & standing qtr in 14.808 @ 94.55mph all with std engine 203bhp Corolla T-Sport daily driver stealthier than Kwai Chang Caine |

Wayne are they going to be 100% ok size wise ?I'm sure you have checked on the Jap forum 100% I used the Rs & as Mei said Adam B loves them ....I thought they were good but Dunlop dzo3gs are the daddy & are Great !!!!! Bloody good price though You've spent some money on that Toy ....says I who's remortgaged my greenhouse for mine I do think people forget about tyres & correct pressures & that cost so many great cars at FCS to suffer !!!! |
