When racing at Snet yesterday the EML was coming on while out on track. I've never seen it on the car before however I have just fitted a different mid and back box which is probably caused it to come on, although I'm not sure why. Car was running sweetly before hand.

Just fitted different exhaust (mid and back box, decat already on), no EML on old exhaust

When running idling in the morning, seemed to misfire every now and again (sounded like the revs dropped briefly)

EML came on when doing a noise test before qualifying (first time I saw it), holding the revs at ~5k RPM

EML would come on whenever I took my foot off the throttle to hit the brakes

EML was most of the time up to about 5.5k RPM

At a dyno test about a year ago they said the engine was running quite lean

Car felt down on power and a little sluggish at times

I think it's the lambda sensor on it's way out?

Which tool can I use? I know it's not OBD2 compliant but not sure what I can use instead?

To follow up to this, I took it to the local garage who scanned it on their Snap-on machine and it came back with ignition circuit 1 fault. I thought that was likely to be the coilpack so changed for a spare but the light is still coming on. Not had chance to take it back yet but behaviour of the light is still the same.
